If a cat is under there, it deserves what's coming.

what may or may not be coming. We can't know... until you hear it that is.

A few days ago, my mom finally caught thw kitten that's been sleeping under every hood in the neighborhood. Cute little thing, but I'll never ever take in another feral cat. We have one right now and she's a pain in the ass.

That's how my (and the neighbours') cats learned that when they hear me unlock the car, it means to run the fuck away.
I only woke the cats on the combines and tractors. We used to leave these machines plugged in to keep the big diesel engines from freezing. And because they were always warm, cats, birds and even some foxes would fall asleep so hard they didn't hear anything until it was too late.

Unfortunately, my father didn't share the same idea when he beat the living daylights out of me for fucking up his ride when I played with his car as a kid.
(Note: It was a janked up Land Cruiser. Cat took out most of the important pulleys, OIL FUCKING EVERYWHERE and oh, thanks to the cat, it caught fire.)

The cat may or may not already be dead, if it is even there at all.

There might not be a cat in there. It could also be already dead.

Technically there is a cat in there and there isn't. And the cat that is and isn't there is alive and dead. Until you knock on the hood to check.

Simultaneously is and isn't dead, until you check.

Unless it isn't.

Even if it isn't it also is

Schrödinger proposed a scenario with a cat in a sealed box, wherein the cat's life or death depended on the state of a subatomic particle. According to Schrödinger, the Copenhagen interpretation implies that the cat remains both alive and dead (to the universe outside the box) until the box is opened.

What if I have one of these cats? Do I knock then?
